Objective

To re-imagine a bold and engaging visual identity for AH Deals, a substore by Albert Heijn. The goal was to design a style that stays true to the AH brand while adding energy, joy, and visual excitement around their non-food deals and offers.

We delivered two distinct directions, one clean and brand-consistent, and another bold, playful, and full of visual punch.

Tasked with creating the 1-UP version, we brought AH Deals into the 3D realm, taking cues from Het Rad van Fortuin to inject joy and a sense of excitement around the products and offers. The result: a vibrant, energetic style that adds visual appeal while keeping the AH spirit intact.


Results

A versatile identity system ready for in-store and digital use, strong internal enthusiasm for the playful 3D direction and a distinct and joyful sub-brand that stands out within the Albert Heijn ecosystem.
